How to Get Free Publicity

One of the more recent trends in online promotion is to write articles related to your product and in the area of your expertise. This not only guarantees you free publicity but also establishes your credibility as an expert. 

Usually, it does not cost you anything to get a well-researched and informative article published. On the other hand, if you were to invest in advertising space to gain publicity equivalent to what you gain by having your article featured in a local newspaper, magazine or online magazine, you would probably have to shell out thousands of dollars.

  • Having attracted your reader’s attention, you should now make sure that they read the whole article. In the very first few lines, show the reader why he or she should be reading the article and what they will gain once they have finished reading the whole thing.

  • Use short, simple sentences and step-by-step directions to guide the readers into finding the solution to their problems.

  • End by quickly summarizing what you have already written. If your readers have been impressed by your article, they are sure to want more advice and guidance. End the article by giving them a brief description of what you do, your home-based business and your contact details.

Using private label rights products

If you find the thought of actually writing something highly daunting or if you think that you cannot possibly write more than one or two articles at the most, you could consider using private label rights products.

Private Label Rights (PLR) content varies from articles, reports to entire ebooks; content that you are free to modify, include your name as author and that you are free to sell in any way you want, even for a profit.

While you can find many PLR products at fairly low prices, you can also find some for free. Once you purchase these PLR products, you can modify them in places you like per the packaged license from the seller, and rewrite portions in your own style, so that they convey the message that you want to.
