Offering Discounts and Free Giveaways

One of the most powerful ways of attracting new customers and building a loyal base of customers is to occasionally offer free giveaways or discounts on specific products.

Even if you are selling a service, you could offer discounts on some services or ”free consultations” for example. There are different ways in which you can implement these schemes.

  • If you are just starting your home-based business, by offering a free giveaway, you are giving your prospective customers the chance to try out your product for free. In fact, many marketing experts believe that when you provide something free, people feel more obliged to purchase something from you, as a way of returning the favor.

  • If you are selling any products, you could consider making a ‘Buy One, Get One Free’ offer. This way you will be able to attract customers who would not have ordinarily considered buying the product. Think of what product you could give away for free or at least a discounted price and which would also have some value for the customer.

  • Finally, if you already have an established clientele, you could offer them a product at a discounted price to express your gratitude. This will make them feel appreciated and you will have more sales.
